Aura's connection to Walmart's API may require a reconnection after an extended period of time. This is normal for API-connected platforms and apps.
If you've noticed updates stalling for Walmart listings, including new listing imports, repricing activity, or feed activity, these are symptoms of needing to re-authenticate Aura's API connection to Walmart.
To reconnect Aura and Walmart, follow the steps below.
Before proceeding: Do not delete or revoke permissions for your current Walmart marketplace connection. Your existing connection must remain as-is in order to re-authenticate without data loss.
1. Head to the Marketplaces page:
a. Leave your existing Walmart marketplace as-is
2. Click + Add Marketplace in the upper right:
3. Select Walmart as a channel, and click Continue in the upper right:
4. Select United States, and click Continue in the upper right:
5. In Walmart Seller Center, authorize Aura as a connected third party app on the page(s) you're automatically sent to
Clicking Confirm will restart the marketplace connection. All listings, listing data, sales metrics, and inventory will begin to refresh and reimport.
Complete these steps as if you are connecting Walmart for the first time, but do not delete your existing Walmart marketplace.
This process mimics performing the connection a second time, but re-authenticates the existing Walmart API connection in the process.
Note: Depending on the size of the marketplace, the import process may take up to several hours.
